Costa Vida Fresh Mexican Grill

Problem: Costa Vida approached iD to develop a website that would represent them as a forward-thinking company that embraces different technologies to manage their brand in an online space while remaining true to their passionate lifestyle and culture.

Strategy: iD created a website for Costa Vida that implemented different technologies for branding and communication. Firstly, they differentiated Costa Vida by exhibiting the fact that the restaurant has an executive chef. To do this, they gave the chef his own YouTube channel featuring videos that appeal to customers on an organic level. The videos show the chef talking about different cooking techniques and ways to use fresh ingredients. iD also used Wordpress, Twitter and Facebook to build brand loyalty and send out real time offers to its followers.

Results: Costa Vida has seen outstanding results with its Facebook and Twitter following. On the day that the first, real time offer was sent via text message using Twitter, Costa Vida had 80 followers. By the end of that day the number of followers had gone up to 1,450.
